What Year 6 have been up to so far this year...

   School Journey 2024 - 2025

Day One

After a slight delay to our arrival, all the children have settled well into the routines of school journey. They have already taken part in a number of activities including archery, aeroball, body zorbing and the crystal maze! All children ate from a variety of pasta dishes and garlic bread plus an ice lolly. In the evening, all the children joined together for a sports evening playing tag and dodgeball. The children got to sleep... eventually and were very much looking forward to a full day tomorrow. All of us are keeping our fingers crossed that we keep dry but whatever occurs there will be lots of fun!

Day Two

The children slept well and were not up too early. A selection from hearty breakfast items of toast, beans, bacon, cereals, yoghurts and fruit was enjoyed by many and ensured they were ready for the day ahead...

The weather just couldn't help itself today, what started as a dry morning just couldn't hold out and sadly the heavens opened during the afternoon! Ready the washing machines for wet and muddy clothes! The children continued to represent the school brilliantly well during all their activities, showing enthusiasm, encouragement, teamwork, bravery and a great have a go attitude.

Day Three

The children were in good shape after a well earned rest. Despite the unexpected fire alarm last night, (for which there was no fire and the Isleworth Town children acted amazingly - please don't worry) high spirits were seen at breakfast and the children were excited for the day ahead. At present the sun's out but ...

... Of course the rain came, thankfully not too heavy or persisitent. It certainly didn't spoil the fun of Jacob's ladder, mini Olympics, archery and many more activities.

For dinner the children enjoyed burgers and chips and cake! Thank you to the parents who supported us by providing birthday cakes to help us celebrate with those celebrating becoming a year older this week. Now, on to the traditional last night disco!
