Results

When we looked at the eggs on Monday we found:

The egg in the water seemed exactly as it had on Friday when we put it in. 

The egg in the coke was slight stained but most of the shell remained. 

The egg in the orange juice showed that some of the shell had began to peel away from the acid in the juice.

The egg in the Ribena has been stained a purple tone and had caused part of the shell to wear away while most of it felt bumpy and rough from where the liquid had eroded it.

The egg in the vinegar did not seem to have a shell anymore. The egg seemed to absorb the liquid a become a squishy ball. Some of these burst on our tables - what a mess!
