On Thursday 5th March all of us celebrated World Book Day. All the children looked fantastic in their costumes and it was so nice to see lots of homemade ones this year! A big well done to Grace for being the class winner :)
Yesterday we had an amzing trip to London to visit where The Great Fire of London happened! We had a fantastic time and the guides were super impressed with all our knowledge and curiosity for history. The children were all so well behaved and the teachers were very proud of them. Special thanks to Grace's Dad, Grant's Mum, Ayaan's Mum and Reece's Mum for helping on the trip, you guys were brilliant!
We made Tudor houses as part of our History. We have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. Next week we will be visiting the Musuem of London to see the real Pudding Lane and St Paul's Cathedral!
Today was our final performance of Hey Ewe! We all had a fantastic time leanring the songs and dances and wearing our amazing costumes!
Today we made Christingles and learnt about why they are important in the Christian celebration of Christmas! We are all feeling very festive now!
On Thursday 21st November we had an animal fu workshop! We got to meet two of the characters and try out some of their dance moves. The characters linked to our school values such as being kind and showing respect. What a great way to get our brains moving as well!
In class we have really been enjoying reading The Fox and the Star. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is lovely! Here are some pictures of us freeze framing parts of the story.
We had a very busy start to the year last week! We were leanring all about our brains. We tried yoga for the brain, made puzzles, made a jelly brain and read lots of interesting facts.
