Here are some weekly spellings sheets for you to continue to use at home. Select the right Phase for your child. You can email the class teacher if you are unsure which Phase your child needs to work on. Alternatively, use the blank spelling sheet to create your own weekly spellings of words your child is finding tricky to learn. 

Further down the page are the 45 Year 1 Common Exception Words that all Year 1 children should be able to read and spell by the end of the year. At home please alternate between focusing on spelling words linked to the phonics spelling patterns and the Year 1 Common Exception words.
