School Journey 2025
Day 1
The journey to Grittleton adventures was very straight forward and all the children arrived in good spirits, looking forward to exciting activities with friends and new experiences. The children settled into their rooms well and some learned a new skill of fitting a duvent into it's cover! Bathed with sunshine, the children took part in afternoon activites and then ate well before getting ready for the evening campfire.
Day 2
After a good nights rest, the children were ready for their first full, action packed day. They started with a hearty breakfast of hash browns, beans, toast, yoghurt, fruit and a bit of cereal and they were set for the day. The sun was soon out and the children enjoyed a morning of archery, buggy building and Olympic games depending on their group. In the afternoon, all took part in the off ground activities of Jacob's ladder and crate stacking. The children have all given 100% to their activities and really shown how they can face challenges and overcome a few fears. The evening ahead brings a game show / quiz activity and then hopefully an early night!
Day 3
After a good nights sleep all the children were ready for another fun filled day. The highlights of today included aeroball, buggy building, body zorbing, water wars and of course the traditional last night disco. Behaviour has been excellent from the children and many instructors have commented about how polite, enthusiastic and engaged the Isleworth Town children have been.
