At Isleworth Town Primary School, learning French is an exciting journey full of curiosity, creativity, and confidence! We want our pupils to enjoy discovering a new language through songs, stories, games, and real-life conversations, helping them grow into enthusiastic and capable language learners.

This year, we are continuing to use Rising Stars, a scheme we have used for many years, while also trialling Oak Academy, whose resources align closely with the national curriculum. By combining familiar approaches with new, carefully chosen materials, we aim to give our children strong foundations in French while keeping lessons engaging, inclusive, and fun.

As a multicultural school, we have the wonderful advantage of sharing our love of languages from home, bringing us together, helping children appreciate diversity, communicate with confidence, and develop a lifelong interest in the wider world.
