Reading in Reception

Your child will receive a reading book once a week. This book will be read with the Teacher and/or Early Years Practitioner. This book is taken home to be shared. Please sign or comment in your child's reading diary once you have read this book. Book bags need to be brought to school everyday so we can change your child's book.

Your child will also choose a nursery rhyme and library book each week to take home. 

We have recently subscribed to on online reading scheme called www.bugclub.co.uk. Your child will be given a username and password to access their account.  They will be allocated books to read from this club.
