School Journey 2016
Monday -
We all arrived safely after a smooth trip up from London. The children were straight into activities upon arrival taking part in Manor Olympics. All ate well, consuming delights such as cottage pie or sweet and sour chicken with chocolate éclair for pudding. As I write the children are settling down in their rooms, after an evening walk, looking forward to a busy day full of activities tomorrow.
Tuesday -
After a good nights sleep for most the children we thr own into a variety of activities today. They have faced the challenge of the climbing wall, got wet through canoeing and kayaking, been underground in the caving maze plus taken part in archery and shelter building. All ate well again and have made many positive comments about the food. The children continue to set a high standard of behaviour and this has been noted by a number of the instructors. Have a look at the gallery of photos below to see what we've been doing...
Wednesday -
The day of the much discussed hill walk! How far is it? How long will it take? Is it that mountain? Can I go back? Just some of the many questions ringing in the teachers ears. But, all the children completed the walk and should be very proud of themselves. There were great views to be seen and lots to learn from the knowledgeable instructors about the wildlife. Everyone is still going strong and enjoying their time.
