Welcome to Ladybird Class!

Your teacher is Miss Bal.

Your EYP is Mr Brewin.

Your nursery assistant is Mrs Miller.

We learn indoors in our classroom and in our outdoor learning environment. We learn by choosing all the lovely things we want to use and we have painting, writing and drawing, counting, construction, tricycles, a climbing area, water, sand and lots more.

Please make sure your child brings their bag with a change of clothes and water to school everyday.

If you would like to leave your child's change of clothes hanging on their peg that is fine, we will give you their bag if need be at the end of the school day.

Nursery children take home a story book once a week with a yellow reading log. We spend time reading with your child and would like you to read the same book with them at home and write a little note in their log. Please remember to return the book and log on your child allocated day (which is stated inside the log). Happy Reading!

We send home Leroy the Ladybird every Friday with a different child. Your child can spend the weekend with Leroy doing whatever it is that you normally do and fill in Leroy's learning journal with pictures, photographs and writing for your child to show their friends at Nursery. Please bring Leroy back the following Monday!

Don't forget to check the parents notice board on the inside of the Nursery gate. It has updates about what we are learning each week (the book if you would like to read it at home as well as the language we are covering).

Sports Day! Thank you to everyone for coming and taking part

Summer is here! The children in Nursery were really excited to be back at school. We have started talking about how children change over time and what they are able to do, how plants grow and how other creatures grow. We have planted some beans and we will be watching them grow so please prepare your garden for a giant Beanstalk :)

A dinosaur in Nursery!

When we came in today, there were some muddy footprints on the floor. The children decided to check the cctv and we found out that a dinosaur left them!!!! How did he get in? - the children were wondering.

Spring has sprung and we are getting bigger! Look at all our new learning
