Kestrel class are expecting much excitement and hard work this year. With activities such as School Journey, Activity week, the annual production and many trips planned the children will be having lots of fun while they learn. But with year six comes SATS, Kestrel class are ready to work hard and gain all the benefits from this which will help them all achieve the results they deserve.

October -
Positions of responsibility
Now in year 6 this was the first time children from Kestrel class could be house or vice captains and hold positions of responsibility. Well done to the children who have been chosen by their peers. They now not only represent their house but complete jobs around the school such as aiding in reception classes, keeping the school running on time by ringing the bell and many more.
November -
Work, Work , Work...
Not alot going on this month apart from hard work, well done to all with the progress they have making.
December -
Bridge Construction
As part of the IPC topic - 'Go with the flow' kestrel class designed and built bridges. Who's was the strongest?
Also children visited local rivers.

Book Week
Kestrel class are looking forward to visits from authors, a theatre production and book character costume day!
