Science at Isleworth Town

"At Isleworth Town, we subscribe to the view that the most important goal for science education is to stimulate, nurture and sustain the curiosity, wonder and questioning of young minds."

We endeavour to;
  • enable children to learn and use the skills associated with scientific methods of investigation and to foster those personal capabilities that promote scientific ways of thinking and working such as curiosity, perseverance, co-operation and sensitivity to living things.
  • develop scientific processes of enquiry through experiment and investigation
  • support children in applying scientific processes in a variety of contexts
  • foster an appreciation of and concern about our environment
  • prepare children for life in an increasingly scientific and technological world
