During Maths we measured different food items containing carbohydrates. It is much easier to visualise quantities of things now.

Science : We have been learning about the parts of a flower. It was fun and fascinating to disect real daffodils, to find all the parts that we had seen in the diagrams.

Science - We observed what happened to pieces of chalk, when dropped in water and vinegar.

As part of the Science week (14/03/2016- 18/03/2016), we have been enjoying several activities! Trip to West Thames College was very informative and we were hands on with practical science. On Monday 14th March, a GP visited our class. It felt great to be able to see and touch some of the instruments and equipment used at our surgeries. Wednesday was lots of fun at a Science workshop, learning all about the importance of healthy choices in life. Here are some glimpses into our busy week!
