We have also looked at persuasive texts and have written our own letters trying to persuade Ms Sheedy to have a tuck shop in school. ( we are still waiting to hear back! )
We have planned, written and edited our own adventure stories, using strong adjectives, a story mountain planner and our senses to help us describe the setting.
We had to build suspense in our stories and introduce new characters which led to an appropriate problem and an interesting resolution for our main character.
